Workshop Guests

We welcome to our Workshop in Bristol the following guests from Japan, and participants from the UK. In addition we are delighted to be developing the link with the USA through the Space Science Project Team which is advised by video link with Dr Joseph Kolecki and his colleagues at the NASA.

Professor Hosoya, Chairman of the Council of Chemical Education, the Chemical Society of Japan, will deliver a welcoming address to the students on "The excitement of Science... how fullerene molecules were discovered".

Professor Shimoi has master-minded the recruitment of students from Japan on behalf of the Chemical Society of Japan working in association with the Japanese professional bodies for Biological, Physical and Earth Science Education, working in close collaboration with our colleague Dr Okano in England. We are very pleased he is staying with us for the duration of the Workshop.
