Dear Eric,
I have found some familiar faces on the following pages on the Chemical Society of Japan website. Can you recognize them?
They are Yoshida, Itai, Kaneyasu and Yamaichi. They are in Tokyo sight seeing, and then visited Chemical Society of Japan. They asked to to see Prof. Shimoi. Of course he was not there. Inside the building they found a chair of the President of the Society (Prof. Noyori, a Nobel Prize winner) and took pictures.
They stated; Some brilliant memories of the Science Workshop in Bristol never disappear, and still shines in their minds. Ten days experience outside their usual daily lives when they could recognize their existence and discover themselves. After coming back from the UK, friends told them "You have been changed.", but they noticed that more than being changed outwardly, there have been many more great things happening inside themselves. They feel that they can walk confidently.
